Het leven is te kort om het in haat door te brengen. Liefde is alles wat we nodig hebben. Bovenal moeten we van onze kinderen houden. Ze kunnen niet groeien of leren lief te hebben als ze geen liefde krijgen. Geen enkele ouder heeft het recht om kinderen als bezit of als wapen te gebruiken, laat staan om de andere ouder het recht te ontnemen om de kinderen op te voeden en van het ouderschap te genieten. Dit is een grote verantwoordelijkheid die helaas velen niet kunnen delen.

When I took on the great challenge of recovering my child I got in touch with the IECC. I met Mr. Hoogkamer and understood that he was my only hope for seeing my son again – it was ten months since I had last seen him. Those who have been through the same experience will understand what I mean. Mr. Hoogkamer not only understood my case but has experience in recovering children. His dedication is extraordinary and selfless in each case, which makes him very successful.

Since the day I contacted the IECC until the day when I embraced my son again I felt supported in everything related to the recovery. This was the hardest and most difficult time in my life, but after living through this experience we are friends for life. The IECC team leaves nothing to chance – rather the opposite, they are always ready for anything that might crop up along the way. They find the best possible solution that no central authority can provide. They have brought us back to life and we will be deeply grateful to them every day of our lives!
