La vita è troppo breve per trascorrerla nell'odio. L'amore è tutto ciò di cui abbiamo bisogno. Soprattutto dovremmo amare i nostri figli. Non possono crescere o imparare ad amare se non ricevono amore. Nessun genitore ha il diritto di usare i figli come proprietà o come arma; tanto meno di privare l'altro genitore del suo diritto di crescere i figli e godersi la genitorialità. Si tratta di una grande responsabilità che purtroppo molti non sono in grado di condividere.

When I took on the great challenge of recovering my child I got in touch with the IECC. I met Mr. Hoogkamer and understood that he was my only hope for seeing my son again – it was ten months since I had last seen him. Those who have been through the same experience will understand what I mean. Mr. Hoogkamer not only understood my case but has experience in recovering children. His dedication is extraordinary and selfless in each case, which makes him very successful.

Since the day I contacted the IECC until the day when I embraced my son again I felt supported in everything related to the recovery. This was the hardest and most difficult time in my life, but after living through this experience we are friends for life. The IECC team leaves nothing to chance – rather the opposite, they are always ready for anything that might crop up along the way. They find the best possible solution that no central authority can provide. They have brought us back to life and we will be deeply grateful to them every day of our lives!
